My name is Adele and I live in Brisbane, Australia. Music has been a passion for my whole life fueled by my parents, and at 13 I became was was later termed a “goth” (although in Brisbane we were originally called swampies which is actually kind of cute).

I ran a club in the ’90s for which I was the original DJ, with the music I had been collecting as a kid and still collect today. Music is in my DNA and I still want to know what’s going on out there. I’m also currently a contributing writer to Auxiliary Magazine (US).

Onyx Music Reviews endeavours to cover dark alternative music that you may or may not be familiar with: whether well-established or up and coming. Genres include gothic, post-punk, deathrock, darkwave, coldwave, new wave, synth, EBM, industrial, and some metal.
